closeup of wireless tv speaker for hearing impaired

It’s an all-too-familiar situation for those living with someone that has hearing loss. Watching a movie or television with a family member with the TV volume so loud it’s uncomfortable. When you try to turn the volume down, you’re met with complaints about not being able to hear anything.

How often is the television so loud you can hear it in the next room, or even a different floor? Is it hard to concentrate on other activities? Are you able to carry a conversation when friends or family drop by and the television volume is way too high?

It can be frustrating for everyone involved. Either the hearing impaired person can’t hear the TV or their family members can’t hear anything else. Hearing aids can help to a point, but they also make background noise louder. However, there is a solution to satisfy both parties.

The Audio Fox Wireless TV Speaker system for the hearing impaired allows users to watch TV at their own personal volume. With small speakers that focus crystal clear sound just a few inches from the ear, the hard of hearing can listen as loud as they need to without disrupting those around them.

The Audio Fox System

The complete Audio Fox Wireless TV Speaker system comes with everything below, including two high-quality speakers, wireless transmitter, and audio output connectors for use with almost any TV set. The transmitter box is small, not much bigger than a deck of cards. This means it can be easily hidden from view.

The speakers easily fit over the back of your recliner, loveseat, or couch and come in four different colors. The volume control and mute button are located on the speaker itself, meaning the user can adjust volume without having to get up or scramble for a remote.

The volume doesn’t need to be blasted because the speakers are so close, so users can still hear the doorbell, hold a conversation, or hear their name being called from another room. Want to listen in complete silence? The speakers also come with a headphone jack, an ideal way to completely block out any ambient noise and enjoy your show with great sound quality.

Worried about battery life? Don’t be. Both the headphones and transmitter are plugged into a wall outlet. The best part of all? The Audio Fox Wireless Speakers and TV speakers or sound bar operate separately. No matter how quiet the set is - even on mute - Audio Fox speakers will still deliver sound.

That means everyone can listen to the TV at their preferred level without affecting each other. No more arguing over the volume, no more asking for the TV to be turned down for a phone call, no more missed doorbells.

Visit our frequently asked questions page for more information on the system, or reach out to us directly. Ideal for three-generation homes, the Audio Fox Wireless TV Speakers will keep disagreements to a minimum and allow everyone to enjoy the TV room once again.

  1. Wonderfull addition to TV sysytem 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Mar 2016

Having the speakers so close to my ears means no echoes or delayed reflections in the audio thus making it easier to listen to the TV. I did not think I needed the help but bought it for a friend, tried it out at home first and had to order another set!

  2. Just what we needed 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Dec 2015

I just gave this to my husband today and it is perfect. His hearing was getting worse and the volume on the TV was becoming unbearable for all the rest of the family. Now he can hear much better than he ever did before and we can enjoy the TV at a much lower volume. Highly recommended!

  3. Works as advertised 4 Star Review

    Generally good product
sound quality could be a little better, but works well

  4. Good Idea 4 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Sep 2015

I purchased this item for my husband who is a bit hard of hearing. He tried it for several days and wasn't really happy with it. It continued to slip off his recliner (we have an oversized La-Z-Boy). Also the speaker from the television seemed to echo when someone was talking, like news reports, etc. Other than that it was fine. I must say, their customer service is wonderful. They lived up to their claim of return and quick refund.

  5. Finally... my husband can hear the TV 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jul 2015

We had been looking for a wireless speakers for my husband but none of them had connectivity to our TV. He kept the TV so loud so he could hear and it drove me out of the room. This product connected to our TV, was simple to hook up and is a fantastic solution to our problem. I can keep the TV at reasonable sound levels while my husband is surrounded with sound. HIGHLY recommended for spouses currently going through this.

  6. Improved life for 101 year old mother 5 Star Review

Hook up was easy using the provided optical cable. She found the audio crisp and clear without using her hearing aids. The units use house power reliving her from having to replace batteries. Great product

  7. Great Product but Needs Additional Handicap Accessories 4 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Jun 2015

Great product. Great sound. But difficult for handicapped individuals who cannot remember how the controls work. I need to be able to utilize a remote control to help adjust the volume when I change channels because the audio level can vary between channels. And for an Alzheimer's patient who can't remember how to adjust the volume it becomes frustrating to them because they may inadvertently turn the speakers off or turn the volume up to blaring but not understand how to turn the audio down. And it needs a remote controlled mute so I can mute the audio when I try to talk. The Alzheimer's patient, or other handicapped individuals, can't hear you and must lean forward to try to hear what you are asking them. And that gets frustrating also. I'm always having to go over to where they are sitting and help turn the unit back on or adjust the volume.

  8. Excellent product, great customer suport 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th May 2015

These speakers worked so well for my 96 year old mother that I bought her a second pair. One pair is on her recliner and the other is for use in bed. She loves the way she can hear the TV so clearly without disturbing others.

The customer service was very helpful in letting me know her older speakers couldn't be upgraded to work with the newer version of one receiver with two speakers. But they explained that buying the second pair and hooking it up to the TV would work just as well, and it does.

  9. best speakers 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Dec 2014

I am hard of hearing and the TV was always turned up and of course the family complained, I tried hearing aides but they were not good. These speakers give me the sound needed without blasting out everyone else.
    Great sound and great comfort

  10. As the wife sleeps 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Oct 2014

Great product that is not just for the hearing imparied. I hate wearing my hearing aids while at home. This product allows me to hear the TV when the wife is in control of the remote and while she sleeps. With the TV muted I control the volume of the Audio Fox speakers while she
    unknowingly sleeps undisturbed. Sound quality
for the music shows I love is outstanding. Absoutely love these speakers.
